Job title: Office Assistant
With support from the Global Fund to fight AIDS, Tuberculosis and Malaria Grant of 2021-2023 being implemented in partnership with the Ministry of Health as a principal recipient, on the one hand, and the National AIDS Council as a sub recipient, on the other hand, Treatment Advocacy and Literacy Campaign (TALC) is on behalf of the Chil Society Self Coordination Mechanism (CSSCM) recruiting staff to operationalize the Secretariat
The Civil Society Self-Coordinating Mechanism (CSSCM) is a body that has been put together to facilitate CSO dialogue to strengthen coordination, collaboration and effective engagement in national response to HIV, TB, Malaria and other disease epidemics. The CSSCM wil identify CSO technical support needs, build the capacity of the CSOs based on their needs and coordinate CSOs including key population and vulnerable groups to strengthen their participation in the multi sectoral national response to HIV, TB and Malaria and other disease epidemics. This is a national project that will run from August 2021 to December, 2023
Job Title 4: Office Assistant
Purpose of the job
The Office Assistant will be responsible for the smooth day to day running of the office. He/she wil perform a variety of office support duties that will include being responsible for the cleaning function of the Mechanism Secretariat.
Key responsibilities
• Oversee office cleaning function
• Assist with filing of documents
• Collection and delivery of office mail
• Procurement of supplies for the office and meetings
• Perform reprographic work including duplicating, coating, stapling and scanning, etc.
• Assist with the preparation of work areas and documents/folders for meetings.
• Collect and distribute stationery and office supplies as required
• Prepare and serve refreshments for meetings when required
• Perform any other related duties assigned from time to time.

• Able to work under pressure and efficiently works through tasks
• Very proactive
• Knowledge of and ability to operate basic office equipment such as photocopier, computers and scanners
• Must have excellent interpersonal skills and good morals
• Mature, Presentable and able to interact professionally with clients and stakeholders
• Strong communication skills, both oral and written in English
• High levels of integrity
Qualification and Experience
• Minimum grade 12 certificate.
• Must be fluent in written and spoken English
• Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a similar office assistant position
• A certificate in business studies, administration or equivalent is an added advantage.
