Position Overview
Reporting to the Chief Operating Officer, the Operations & Logistics Manager is responsible for the day-to-day operations of the business. He/She is a crucial member of The Bubbles Team, the work performed in this role is key and integral to the running of the business. He/She is expected to remain committed and dedicated, use initiative, and demonstrate sound judgment in all situations. He/She must be ethical in all your practices, professional, punctual, and reliable. .

Primary Responsibilities
• Scheduling of appointments with clients
• Pickup and delivery of clothes to and from clients
• Supervision of laundresses (ladies that do the washing, ironing, steaming)
• Operating drier and other laundry equipment
• Packing and counting clothes after pick-up and before delivery • Weighing clothes
• Checking available laundry supplies and distributing supplies to laundresses
• Ensuring that all equipment is clean and safely stored away at the end of each shift
• Coordinating the purchase of inventory/supplies with COO
• Bookkeeping and filling
• Extensive and regular advertising of business (The Bubbles) via word of mouth to attract potential laundresses (in the community) as well as clients
• Keeping up with school schedules (reopening and closure)
• Finding The Bubbles ambassadors
• Acquire followers on social media by consistently sending out invitations

Qualifications
• Minimum qualification: Grade 12 Certificate
• Experience in Laundry Service and a driver’s license are an asset.
