JOB DETAILS:
Mukuba Pension Trust wishes to recruit a suitably qualified and experienced person to be based in Solwezi to fill the following position:
PENSIONS AND CLIENT RELATIONS OFFICER
Job Purpose
To administer pension activities and operations of the pensions section at Mukuba Pension Trust to ensure proper, accurate and systematic execution of work in order to fulfill contractual and legal obligations to the members and other stakeholders. .
Duties and Responsibilities:
• Administer activities of the Pension Section to ensure effective administration of members’ details and pension benefits.
• Ensure that statistical data in respect of actuarial valuations, monthly reports and projections are accurately and timely prepared and presented for use by management.
• Explain benefit entitlements and other vital details to beneficiaries to facilitate understanding and provide financial advice as required.
• Calculate pension benefits according to scheme rules upon receipt of pension claim forms from eligible beneficiaries.
• Undertake client relations functions aimed at promoting the corporate image of the organization.
• To grow scheme membership through recruitments in line with the Trust strategic plan.
• To superintend over a branch office by ensuring that members are able to access the office freely

Qualifications and Experience
(a) Grade 12 Certificate with 5 ‘O Levels’ with credit or better in Mathematics and English
(b) Degree in Business Administration/Marketing/ Any other business related studies
(c) Good knowledge of Sage Pastel and Excel
(d) 3 years experience in a similar position
(e) Personal attributes should include integrity and reliability; must be astute, versatile, self-driven and well-motivated.
