JOB DETAILS:
  Gemcanton Investments Holdings Limited (Formerly Grizzly Mining Limited) has grown from a small Emerald mining operation into one of Africa’s leading emerald producers in the last two decades. We are inviting applications to fill the following vacant position:
PHARMACY TECHNOLOGIST
Contract: Permanent
• Reporting to the Medical Officer, the successful candidate will be accountable for the following:
• Management and disbursement of Drugs as prescribed by clinicians
• Price and file completed prescriptions.
• Manage supplies for chronic drugs and giving notice to patients when they are supposed to come for refill
• Help maintain equipment and work areas according to prescribed methods.
• Maintain proper storage and security conditions for drugs and allied substances as per ideal storage protocol.
• Establish and maintain patient profiles, including lists of drugs taken by individual patients.
• Input data in system.
• Receive and store incoming supplies, verify quantities against invoices, and inform supervisors of stock needs and shortages.
Administer ART
The job is particularly suitable for candidates who meet the following minimum requirements and possess the following attributes:
Full Grade 12 Certificate
Diploma in Pharmacy from a recognized institution
Polite, patient and ability to communicate well
Team player
Minimum 3 years’ experience.

  To be considered for the position, you must meet the following requirements:
• Degree in mining engineering.
• At least (10 years) in the open pit mining industry in Drill and Blast of which 5 years or more must be in a senior supervisory role.
• Experience in large multi pit operations utilising large scale mining equipment. Drill rig and blasting experience essential. Knowledge of dozer operation is essential
• Must have excellent written and oral communication skills in English and show a commitment to understand local culture and impart your mining operations and technical knowledge.
