JOB DETAILS:
The purpose of the Photography and Graphics Designer role is mainly to develop visual communicators and create graphic ideas to deliver a message through art and images which inspire, inform, and motivate consumers.

Responsibilities
1. Create visually engaging and aesthetically pleasing designs for Bata e.g., digital marketing materials, print collateral, website graphics, etc.
2. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Marketing, Collections, to translate concepts into compelling visual assets.
3. Develop and maintain brand identity guidelines, ensuring consistency across all design elements.
4. Stay updated on industry trends and emerging design technologies to bring fresh ideas to the table.
5. Manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
6. Incorporate feedback and make revisions to designs as necessary.
7. Designing weekly press adverts for Bata products
8. Designing of Bill Boards, banners and POP materials for Sales promotions
9. Maintaining the Bata Zambia Website and Facebook page
10. Handling of Photographic events and jobs
11. Provide advice to Bata management and store operators on new and or upcoming graphic systems and policies.

Qualifications
Ø Full Grade 12 O’ Levels Certificate
Ø Bachelor’s degree in graphic design, Visual Arts, or a related field.
Ø 5 years of experience in graphic design, with a strong portfolio showcasing a range of design work.

Skills
Ø Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, etc.).
Ø Strong understanding of typography, color theory, and layout principles.
Ø Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
Ø Ability to work independently and take initiative.
Ø Product photography
Ø Exceptional creativity and innovation.
Ø Excellent time management and organizational skills.
Ø Accuracy and attention to detail.
