Job Description
To Design, develop, produce teaching and learning materials such as curriculum, teacher’ guides in Physical Education and sports;
• To experiment teaching produced
• teaching and learning materials developed and produced in Physical Education and sports;
• To design teaching aids that are not printed in order to supplement print materials;
• To ensure follow up and evaluation of curriculum, teaching methods of in Physical Education and sports;
• To take active participation in researches aimed at improving the quality of in Physical Education and sports; curricula and teaching and learning materials.
Job Profile
Bachelor’s Degree in Physical Education & Education with Education or Bachelor’s Degree in Physical Education & Education with Post Graduate Diploma in Education (PGDE).
Key technical skills & knowledge required:
• Knowledge related to the Curriculum development and implementation;
• General knowledge on Rwanda education system and policies;
• Report writing and presentation skills;
• Computer literacy;
• Ability to communicate through verbal means with individuals, small groups and in front of audiences;
• Ability to apply adult learning principles;
• Collaboration and team working skills;
• Effective communication skills;
• Management and administrative skills;
• Time management;
• Fluent in Kinyarwanda, English or French; knowledge of all these three (3) languages is an advantage.
