JOB DETAILS:
A key aspect of this role is the ability to drive continuous improvement in rearing and production processes, ensuring that biological performance of the stock is maximized by following best practices in poultry management, bird welfare and bio-security procedures.
The Farm Manager position is hands on and takes accountability for all aspects of farm performance and staff management. Successful candidates will be able to demonstrate a proven strong track record of success in the poultry industry and previous experience of no less than 5 years in a Farm Manager or Assistant Manager position where technical poultry concerns have been addressed and productivity levels have grown. Previous experience of modern poultry farm equipment would be highly advantageous.
The Farm Manager position is a salaried role with weekend work and additional hours required to meet the operational needs of the business. .
