ATS specializes in designing, developing and servicing remote camps, including catering, cleaning, and accommodation and camp management across the life-cycle of your operation. .
Duties & Responsibilities
• Manage a procurement team effectively to set them up for success
• Operationalization of the Procurement Strategy to enable business growth
• Understand the demand via stakeholder management which will drive supply analysis/strategy, supplier identification, sourcing execution, contract negotiation e.t.c
• Drive Cost Leadership & Preferential Procurement - Identification and realization of cost reduction, saving and optimization
• Leverage scale and logistics
• Manage product and service quality
• Increase efficiency and effectiveness whilst mitigating risk
• Deliver value via strategic procurement practices (supply planning; policy management; category planning; supplier risk management; commodity risk)
• Creation and implementation of short, medium and long-term goals and objectives
• Improvement of best practice-based business processes
• Management of business outsourcing Activities

• Supplier relationship management through development, rebate, supplier term optimization, and supplier performance monitoring

• Ability to establish favorable and reasonable contracts with local and international suppliers
• Ability to maintain focus whilst working within an ambiguous and complex environment
• Demonstrable track record of strategic sourcing; leading negotiations and cost leadership
• A high degree of market insight and strategic orientation
• Knowledge of financial modelling and insight driven analytics to guide the procurement strategy
• Understanding of the three strategic thrusts: suppliers, analytics, commodities
• Excellent at building key stakeholder relationships to create shareholder value at all levels of the business
• Understand and drive a culture of cost leadership
• Strong analytical skills to collect and interpret data
• Operationally strong
• Be goal oriented and innovative to ensure ATS is at the forefront of procurement as a key value contributor to the organizational bottom line and strategy achievement
Qualifications
• Bachelor’s Degree in Procurement and supplies management or equivalent qualification.
• Must have a minimum of 5 years’ experience in Procurement & Supplies Management within FMCG/ Retail Sector.
• Must be knowledgeable in imports of dry and frozen goods
• Must have experience in monthly reporting and preparing purchase & consumption reports and be able to analyses savings
• Knowledge of ERP, Excel a must, SAGE knowledge is an added advantage. Candidates with financial background will also have an added advantage
• Ability to work in remote areas
