Overview
Nitrogen Chemicals of Zambia (NCZ) Limited is a state enterprise under the umbrella of the Industrial Development Corporation (DC). The company located in Kafue. 50km south of Lusaka, endeavours to grow and prosper through production and marketing of top quality fertilizers and industrial chemicals. NCZ wishes to invite qualified and experienced Zambians to fill the following job vacancies:
Job title: Procurement Superintendent
Reporting to the Procurement and Supplies Manager, the job holder will be:
• Responsible for timely procurement of quality goods and services for the company at lowest competitive costs
• Analysing consumption of spares and materials and forecasting demand in relation to the company’s production programmes and ensuring there are no stockouts
• Ensuring required spares, materials, capital equipment, etc. are procured at lowest competitive costs to meet operational needs of the company
• Ensuring procurement of quality goods and services with goods terms of supply
• Advising the Procurement and Supplies Manager on the most suitable suppliers through the evaluation of tender documents
• Must have good negotiating skills in pricing of the goods, handling of service contracts, authorization of new vendors and verification of payments to both domestic and foreign suppliers.

Minimum Qualifications:
• Grade 12 with 5 O’ levels including English, Mathematics and Science
• Degree in Purchasing and Supply or Equivalent
• Computer Literate
• 25 Years of Age or above
• 5 years’ experience
• Membership of ZIPS a must

Work Hours: 8

Experience in Months: 24

Level of Education: Bachelor Degree
