JOB DETAILS:

Avanto Company Limited wishes to invite applications for the position of Procurement and Stores Officer.

POSITION SUMMARY DESCRIPTION
• Receive materials, goods and services on behalf of the company. Ensuring that all in order and correspond with what was ordered, received in the right quantity and in good condition
• Issue materials to Production and other end user department as per their requirement subject to HOD approval
• Raise goods received note for all materials brought in the company, after inspection and submit for approval to immediate supervisor.
• Monitor stock levels and coordinate with SCM on the various materials needed to replenish
• Raise Purchase requisitions for Stock that need to be replenished
• Make purchases of Petty cash value for Company consumables as prescribed by the company
• Advise Supply Chain Manager on best Procurement & Store practices where necessary
• Any other duties that may be given or assigned by the HOD

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE
Full Grade twelve certificate.
Diploma in CIPS (Degree will be an added advantage)
at least 2 years of work experience in a similar role.
Proficient in MS Office ie Excel.
Basic Accounts knowledge will be an added advantage.
