JOB DETAILS:
Job title: Production Manager
Department: Production (Oral dosage form)
Location: Lusaka East Multi Facility Zone.
Industry: Pharmaceutical Industry

Role and Responsibilities:
• Preparation of Product Master Formula.
• To ensure that Good Manufacturing Practices are followed in the department.
• To maintain Area upkeep by ensuring Good Housekeeping practices.
• To keep the area and equipment in validated state with appropriate labelling.
• Receipt and verification of the raw materials and packaging materials.
• Organizing the repair and routine maintenance of production equipment.
• Formulating the set drug forms in accordance with the British Pharmacopeia.
• To co-ordinate with QA, QC, Stores, HR, Archives and Engineering Department.
• To achieve the set production targets in time in adherence to the laid systems and procedures. To be yield conscious and do reconciliation of materials.
• To train the technicians and other department personnel on written procedures and cGMP guidelines and thereby ensuring cGMP and WHO compliance.
• To train respective equipment operators, cleaning and troubleshooting procedures
• To ensure plant and personnel safety.
• To coordinate with supportive functions for ensuring smooth manufacturing and packing operations.
• To initiate, perform and document all SOP in the Oral Workshop.

Qualifications
• of 3 years, preferably in the Pharmaceutical industry.
• Level: Grade 12 certificates
• Diploma or Degree in Pharmacy or equivalent with vast knowledge in Oral Dosage Form Production Management.
• knowledge of Microsoft office
• Command in English Language, Nyanja and Bemba
Abilities: proven abilities of a pharmaceutical production manager.
Personality: Self-motivated, Completing tasks on Time.
