BACKGROUND
Good Neighbors International (GNI) is an international humanitarian and development Non-Governmental Organization in General Consultative Status with the United Nations Economic and Social Council (UN ECOSOC). GNI strives to improve lives, especially children's lives, through community development projects. In order to complete its staff, Good Neighbors International would like to recruit different staff with the following positions:
Position: Project Field Officer (OD) Based in Runda Sector Kamony District
Key responsibilities included;
- To coordinate all Good Neighbors projects and activities carried out in the target Community Development Project(CDP) site
- To receive beneficiaries and provide clear explanations to them when there is need
- To work closely with the Community Development Committee (CDC) members of the target CDP site
- To conduct regular monitoring and follow up and report to the line coordinators
- To Take care of GNR office equipment and materials received on the field
- To improve community people‘s levels of understanding and participation for
community development - To have regular field visit and have meeting with beneficiaries and stakeholder in order to check the progress of on-going projects
- To submit regular activity reports to Team leaders and Managers
- To regularly assist to monitor and report the efficiency, effectiveness and impacts of program/projects
- To conduct regular meeting with community people, especially with CDC and local authorities for finding local needs
- To have proper partnership with local government, NGOs, CDC and NGOs for self-reliance in CDP
Qualifications and skills;
- The candidate must hold an A2 diploma in Education, Health and social sciences and above
- Experienced at least 3 years in a related field with the ability to work in a remote area
- Fluent in English
- Good computer skills (Microsoft Word, Excel, power point) and reporting skills a must
- Honest and transparent
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Preferred to live or work in Runda Sector, Kamony District
