JOB DETAILS:
• We are looking for a Civil Engineer with excellent leadership abilities to oversee multiple company projects. They should be dedicated to excellence with a constant pursuit to grow. It is paramount for the Civil Engineer to be able to think independently and on their feet while clearly communicating their vision to various audiences.

Key Responsibilities:
• Communicating the goals of the company to all Engineers and professionals in the team.
• Calculating costs, material, labour, and time required for each project
• Formulating budgets.
• Delegating tasks to engineering teams.
• Supervising staff training as well as equipment installation.
• Performing quality control checks on all systems and products.
• Quickly resolving disputes between staff.
• Analysing data and drafting reports for review.
• Undertaking technical and feasibility studies including site investigations
• Using a range of computer software for developing detailed designs
• Liaising with clients and a variety of professionals including architects and
• subcontractors
• Compiling job specs and supervising tendering procedures
• Resolving design and development problems
• Managing budgets and project resources
• Scheduling material and equipment purchases and deliveries
• Making sure the project complies with legal requirements, especially health and safety
• Assessing the sustainability and environmental impact of projects
• Ensuring projects run smoothly and structures are completed within budget and on time.

Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in the relevant engineering field from an EIZ recognized institution (Master’s degree preferable).
• At least 5 years of experience in field
• Must have experience in handling Tender documents and have knowledge in Vendor registration EIZ Member
• ERB Certified
• Independent thinker
• Having private sector experience will be an added advantage.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• The ability to work onsite and in the office.
• Must have a Valid Drivers License
