Project Manager
Overview
Handyman’s Lime Limited is an indigenous Zambian Company engaged in Quick Lime manufacturing and trading since 2016. In 2017, the Company entered a management partnership with Carmeuse of Belgium. Carmeuse is the world’s leading producer of Lime and brings into the partnership extensive technical and marketing knowledge gained over 150 years of operations.
Applications are invited from suitably qualified and experienced candidates to manage a short-term contract.
Job Title: Project Manager
Number of Positions 1

Specifications:
1) Full Grade 12 certificate holder.
2) 5 to 10 years’ working experience in project management for SMEI projects – (Structural, Mechanical, Electrical and Instrumentation)
3) Engineering diploma or degree.
4) Strong leadership skills.
5) Effective communication – verbal and written.
6) Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.
7) Hands-on experience with assembly of heavy equipment.
8) Registered Engineer with E.I.Z and E.R.B.
9) Holder of a valid silicosis certificate.

Duties
1) Manage construction and installation activities.
2) Be the main point of contact between contractors and the client.
3) Ensure that health and safety standards are maintained.
4) Risk assessments for all tasks.
5) Daily, weekly, and monthly reports on project progress.
6) Manage change management activities where needed.
