POSITION: Provincial M& E Specialist
LOCATION: Copperbelt
REPORTS TO: M & E Manager .
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
Reporting to the M & E Manager – The M&E Specialist is responsible for and will be assisting the M&E Manager in monitoring, evaluation and reporting of activities under the ZAMFAM Project in Copperbelt province and Solwezi District.
The M&E Specialist will develop and maintain existing systems to collect and analyze information on inputs, outputs, outcomes and impact of the program.
She/he will conduct supportive supervisory visits to sub-grantees to observe, monitor, guide, and provide feedback on the use of data and indicators; analyze monthly/quarterly data, and support training of Data Assistants / M&E personnel in quality assurance and improvement methods.
S(he) will support the M&E Manager in ensuring the achievement of overall Project goals and objectives, including the application of M&E frameworks, performance-based result and process indicators, measurement methods, and periodic reviews to identify factors that facilitate and impede the program’s and its partners’ progress.

Key Qualifications
1. First degree in Social Sciences, A masters is an added advantage
1. At least three (3) years experience in M&E field working with F/CBOs
2. One year experience at Supervisory level
3. Experience working with USAID projects
4. Skilled in the implementation of data quality assessments and reporting
5. Skilled in developing M&E plans and tools for assessing project performance
6. Demonstrable ability to develop excel, and other high level databases and their management
7. Highly Computer skilled inclusive of word, excel, and statistical software (STATA, SPSS, etc.)
8. Knowledge of DHIS2 use
9. Excellent reporting abilities both quantitative and qualitative
10. Strong verbal and written communication skills.
11. Must be able to work in a team
