JOB DETAILS:
QUALITY CONTROL INSPECTOR VACANCY
Position: Quality Control Inspector (01)
Contract Term: 2 Years
Reporting to: Quality Control Manager
Location: Proflight Hangar 15A, KKIA
Deadline for Submissions: 26th May 2023
Start Date: 1st June 2023

RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE;
• Document discrepancies identified during inspection tasks.
• Receives and reviews shop inspection documentation packages.
• Maintain Personnel Records up to date.
• Control, investigate and establish corrective actions and follow-ups of the internal non-compliances.
• Assists QCM in the execution of incident investigations, as required, including the collection of facts, data, artifacts, and other information related to the incident.
• Completes, audits, and distributes all quality records and documents.
• Examine aircraft maintenance logbook entries and maintenance/inspection paperwork to ensure proper completion in accordance with Proflight’s Maintenance Procedures Manual
• Inspects both work in progress and completed tasks for discrepancies/deficiencies in accordance with the Quality Management System documents (manuals, plans, procedures, instructions,), contract requirements, and other applicable requirements.
• Inspect incoming parts/materials with accompanying documentation to verify conformance to airworthiness requirements.
• When so authorized, conduct audits of Repair/Overhaul Vendors, Fuel Vendors and internal audits of Company departments and functions.
• Perform duties or special projects as assigned by management.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the Director of Maintenance.

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE;
• Diploma/Degree in Aeronautical Electronics/Aircraft Maintenance Engineering or equivalent.
• Zambian B1 or B2 Licence or any equivalent Licence acceptable to the ZCAA.
• Good Knowledge of Zambia Civil Aviation Regulations.
• Minimum 8 years’ experience in Airline operations.
• Minimum of one current aircraft type authorization, preferable on the type operated by Proflight Zambia. J32/J41/CRJ200.

KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS;
• Must have some knowledge of Proflight operations.
• Must have safety, and security awareness.
• Must have Emergency Response Plan awareness.
• Must have organizational, decision-making, and motivational skills.
• Must have flexibility and ability to work under pressure and multitask.
• Must have good communication skills to liaise with other Team Members.
• Must be Computer literate.
• Must have Lead Auditor training.
