JOB DETAILS:

Key responsibiities
• Meeting with clients to discuss project requirements
• Undertaking feasibility studies, site surveys and estimations
• Preparing contract documents and tenders and monitoring there after
• Identifying commercial risks and developing appropriate responses
• Allocating and monitoring the work of subcontractors
• Ensuring that all projects are delivered on time and within budget
• Analysing project outcomes and creating detailed financial reports
• Maximising potential project income at all times
• Ensuring compliance with all health, safety, sustainability, quality and other statutory requirements
• Advise on procurement strategies
• Prepared detailed project reports
• Tracking changes in the design and adjusting budget projections in line with these

Requirements
• Degree in Quantity Surveying from a recognised institute
• 5+ Years of experience in a similar management role and on diverse projects
• Ready to work awkward hours
• Works well under pressure
• Great problem solving skills
• Willing to work outside Lusaka and on various sites when needed
• Proven experience of managing all projects from inception to completion
• Ability to interpret, understand and organise construction and building plans and specifications
• Valid Drivers License
