JOB DETAILS:
Job Profile
• To Set up, operate, and maintain the electronic equipment used to transmit radio signals. Control audio equipment and regulate volume level and quality of sound during radio broadcasts.

Main Duties
• Operate all equipment, such as audio mixing consoles, media control systems, oscilloscopes, frequency analyzers, and satellite receivers, used to broadcast radio programmes
Maintain equipment to ensure that it functions properly
Quickly and effectively troubleshoot problems with transmission
Conduct functional and operational testing procedures to ensure quality performance of broadcast products including radio programmes
Work with engineers to test and integrate new systems.
Use computer software to edit audio recordings

Qualifications Required
• Full grade Twelve Certificate
Diploma in Audio Engineering
Degree will be an added advantage
Minimum of five (5) years’ work experience

Work Hours: 8

Experience in Months: 60

Level of Education: Postgraduate Degree
