JOB DETAILS:
JOB SUMMARY:
The position of Records Management Officer is lower management position and the job holder shall be responsible for the efficient and effective management the corporation's records to ensure the attainment strategic goals and objectives of the organization. The position attracts a management salary scale of KGN1 KGMZ.
REPORTING TO: MANAGER HUMAN CAPITAL AND DEVELOPMENT
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES WILL INCLUDE;
• Facilitating the development of filling systems and maintaining these to meet administrative, technical, legal and financial requirements.
• Development and implementation of a high standard Company Records Management
• System.
• Overseeing the management of electronic and/or paper-based information
• Setting up, maintaining, reviewing and documenting records systems
• Ensuring compliance with relevant legislation and regulation
• Managing circulation/transfer of records and documents
• Registration and dispatch of outgoing mail
• Other duties as assigned.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE
• Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Records
• Management, Library Studies or reir'e2 from a recognized institution.
• Must have 5+ years of relevant experience of a
• Registry Clerk.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office
• Excellent organizational skills
• Must be prepared to undertake further development of business leadership skills through participation in internal and external
• Tack and discretion for dealing with confidential information
• Accuracy and attention to detail
• Must be a member of ZIHRM
