About the Role:
• ETG is looking for a self-motivated District Manager to ensure that the ‘Live Better’ Free Cookstove Distribution project is delivered effectively at the community level. The candidate will be required to travel between multiple rural locations to coordinate and deliver our highly effective programme, whilst also ensuring strong community engagement and effective data collection management. This is a role for a highly motivated individual who is passionate about engaging with communities, various partners whilst also understanding how to work within a large, fast-moving organisation.

Key Responsibilities:
• Plan and coordinate stove distribution, household education and survey visits by Community Ambassadors, including installation visits, and follow up household visits.
• Communicate regularly with Program Manager, providing regular reports on the status of district level stove distribution numbers, training and logistics activities.
• Conduct site assessments of mini-warehousing and distribution points within the district.
• Coordinate with the Logistics Assistant for the delivery and receipt of stoves to and from distribution centres.
• Interface directly with ETG logistics team and local government official partners and community. leadership to coordinate and accelerate distribution activities.
• Plan and coordinate stove distributions across the districts.
• Support ETG with other tasks (as required)
• Plan, coordinate, and supervise Initial HH surveys, follow-up HH surveys and support survey visits carried out by Community ambassadors.

Qualifications, Skills & Experience:
• A minimum of 2 years of experience working with communities within Kaoma District((preferred).
• Educated to degree level (or comparable qualifications)
• Good verbal, written, and presentation skills in both English and Lozi local language.
• Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team across multiple community locations.
• Experience working with both National and Local Government in Western Province (preferred)
• Ability to work on tight deadlines
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills capable of maintaining strong relationships and multi-tasking skills.
• Good analytical and problem-solving abilities.
