JOB DETAILS:
  AFGRI Equipment is seeking a highly skilled Technical Manager to join the Equipment team. In this position, you will oversee all the company's operations in the Southern Region, including providing leadership to all staff on technical matters.
POSITION: Regional Operations Manager -Southern quirements:
• Qualified Tractor Mechanic
• Certified John Deere Technician
• At least Level 4 John Deere Master Technician Certificate.

Responsibilities:
• To lead in the development of strategies
• To help formulate and execute policies and processes across the Southern Region, and across all functions to help in the achievement of the AFGRI Equipment’s business objectives
• To provide advice and guidance to managers and staff on all aspects of the business
• To maintain regular contact with farmers and relevant government departments/agencies; and ensure that the services provided by the Company remain relevant to the needs of the communities
• To maintain awareness of developments in the fields of mechanization and farming methods to ensure that the company continues to take advantage of the latest thinking in these areas and ensure that yields are improved too.
• To carry out training and development needs assessments of AFGRI Equipment Company employees and ensure that the objectives of Company's succession planning program are met.

Experience Requirements
• At least 7 years technical experience (John Deere), with at least 5 years in management level
• Excellent customer service experience
• Proven ability to maintain and build relationships
• Good knowledge of risk management
• Good computer skills and knowledge of ERP system; and
• Good interpersonal skills.
