Introduction
ActionAid Zambia (AAZ) is a member of the ActionAid Global Federation, committed to advancing social change for a just, equitable, and sustainable world. We work in collaboration with marginalized and excluded women and young people, along with their organizations and movements, to address the root causes of social injustice, gender inequality, and poverty. Our head office is located at 38G Kabulonga Road, Ibex Hill, Lusaka.
Action Aid Zambia is embarking on rehabilitation and construction of the stated scopes of work at the outlined Schools. It is in this view that the Ministry of Education under Mpulungu District Education Board Office invites the interested bidders to participate in the following scope of works:

1. Supply and delivery of assorted building materials for the rehabilitation and construction of six facilities.

REHABILITATION OF A STAFF HOUSE AT CHITUTA PRIMARY SCHOOL IN MPULUNGU DISTRICT. LOT 1

REHABILITATION OF VERANDAH AT MUSWILO PRIMARY SCHOOL IN MPULUNGU DISTRICT. LOT 2

REHABILITATION OF 1X3 CLASSROOM BLOCK AT ISOKO PRIMARY SCHOOL IN MPULUNGU DISTRICT. LOT 3

REHABILITATION OF 2 NO. DORMITORIES, 1 NO KITCHEN AND 2 NO. VIP TOILETS AT VYAMBA SECONDARY SCHOOL. LOT 4

CONSTRUCTION OF A TOILET AT LUPONGWE PRIMARY SCHOOL. LOT 5

The following schedules shall be submitted with bid:

1. Company Profile
2. Company Registration Certificate (PACRA),
3. Signed Letter of Bid,
4. Completed Schedules of good and services (Bill of Quantities)
5. Completion period of supply
6. Valid Tax Clearance Certificate
7. NCC for construction companies
8. Evidence of similar works done before
9. Social Security Certificate (NAPSA)

2. BIDDERS ARE FREE TO BID FOR MORE THAN ONE (1) LOT
3. Sealed bids in envelops Two (2) copies of each bid clearly indicating LOT No. and title of the scope of work; for example – REHABILITATION OF A STAFF HOUSE AT CHITUTA PRIMARY SCHOOL IN MPULUNGU DISTRICT. LOT 1, must be deposited in the Tender Box situated at Mpulungu District Education Board Office on or before Tuesday 21st October 2024 10:00hours local time.
4. The closing date for the receipt of bids is 21st October 2024 at 10:30 local time and any bids received after the above stipulated time WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED.
5. The bids will be opened at 10:30hours local time at DEBs Office, Conference room, Mpulungu District in the presence of bidders or their representatives in attendance.
