REQUEST FOR QUOTATIONS FOR PRINTING BETWEEN 500 to 3,000 AO MAPS

BACKGROUND INFORMATION:

Akros is a cutting edge non-governmental organization that establishes data-driven and technologically appropriate systems to improve the health, social and well-being of disadvantaged communities. We pride ourselves in our ground-level knowledge of the service delivery systems where we work, and our ability to provide novel, lasting solutions implemented in developing regions.

Akros is supporting the Zambian Ministry of Health in using digital and geospatial approaches to add value to their existing microplanning processes and activities.

Akros plans to print between 500 and 3,000 AO maps to support the implementation of the project’s microplanning activities. Printing will likely need to start in early July and all maps will need to be complete within 2 weeks, providing already printed maps throughout that period. Akros invites eligible vendors to submit a quotation for the printing of these maps based on the terms and conditions specified below:

Terms for the Supply of Goods/Materials (Quotations)

To be eligible for selection, the vendor must:

• Submit business registration certificate and tax clearance certificate
• The quotations must be on official quotation format
• All quotations must clearly state terms of payment
• Quotations should clearly state the specifications of the goods/materials as provided herein
• All quotations must clearly state delivery period of goods/materials (preference will be given to vendors who can deliver within a short period)
• All goods/materials shall comply with the Zambia Bureau of Standards and any other regulatory authority
• Guarantee supply of high quality printing products.
• All quotations shall be submitted electronically to the contact provided below

Map printing specifications:

The maps need to be printed in A0 size on high quality water proof and tear proof material. The quality of the maps must be printed clearly and in the color tones reflected in the soft copy maps and printed with high quality resolution to reflect the details as seen in the soft copy maps.

Quantity: Between 500 and 3,000

All enquiries relating to this RFQ, or specifications and detail of the goods/materials or services in this RFQ must be submitted to dpollard@akros.com.

The email submission of the response must specify the following in the subject line: Response to RFQ for printing of A0 maps.

The closing date for receiving responses to this RFQ is 12:00 hrs., on Friday the 28th June 2024. Submissions for the RFQ should be done electronically to dpollard@akros.com.  No hard copy submissions will be accepted.

Please note that the dates listed above have no exceptions; late entries will not be allowed. All questions regarding this RFQ should be submitted electronically to dpollard@akros.com prior to the deadline of 28th June 2024.
