ABOUT SAVE THE CHILDREN – ZAMBIA

PROJECT DESCRIPTION
The project aims to provide equitable access to safe and inclusive learning environments for children aged 3-8, with a focus on gender and disability inclusion. Creating a Brighter Future for Zambia’s Children is funded by Save the Children Italy and is being implemented in Sioma and Shangombo districts of Zambia. The project begun on 1st February 2022 and ends on 31st December 2024.

Save the Children Zambia seeks to conduct an end of project evaluation to assess the effectiveness, impact, and sustainability of the project in achieving its objectives. The evaluation’s scope will cover the project’s interventions in Sioma and Shangombo districts, focusing on: equitable access to safe learning environments; inclusive education for children aged 3-8 and gender and disability inclusion. The evaluation aims to assess the project’s achievements and challenges; measure the impact on targeted beneficiaries; identify best practices and lessons learned; inform future programming and decision-making. The deliverables will include a comprehensive report on project performance which will outline recommendations for future interventions and evidence-based findings to inform policy and practice.

Save the Children International Zambia now invites Proposals from reputable and qualified consultants to conduct the endline evaluation for the project.
