Purpose of the Call for Consultants
We are seeking Zambian and international experts who can combine their technical expertise with strong interpersonal and management skills to support our current and future research projects.

Project Focus Areas
Our projects are wide ranging in the expertise and knowledge they require but generally focus on the following areas:
• Behavioural Health and Health Policy
• Education
• Agriculture
• Public Health and Epidemiology
• Social Policy and Economics
• Water Sanitation and Hygiene (WASH)
• Market Research

Duties and Responsibilities
• Participate in writing of research project proposals as may be required by the clients
• Participate in training of data collection staff
• Use statistical and other software to analyse data
• Communicate with clients through email and video conferencing facilities
• Produce project evaluation reports including field reports

Competencies
• Fluent in oral and written English
• Demonstrated prior research work and expertise
• Demonstrated ability to collect and evaluate quantitative and qualitative data
• Experience in project design, implementation, monitoring and reporting
• The ability to manage information and deliver accurate and concise reports in a timely manner
• Able to work independently, as well as within a team
• Demonstrated organizational skills and ability to meet deadlines under pressure

Required Skills and Experience
• At least a master’s degree in Economics, Agriculture, Education, Development Studies, Demography, Communication, Statistics, or relevant field
• Demonstrated knowledge of quantitative and/or qualitative data analysis methods
• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite and video conferencing software such as Zoom, Google Meet, and WebEx

Information Regarding the Roster
Once you are registered in the roster of consultants, M31 Research may contact you for any consultancy opportunities that are relevant to your expertise. The issue and areas of consultancy will depend on various current and upcoming projects that will be implemented by M31 Research. Though, please understand that being registered in the roster does not in any way assure a consultancy contract.

When you are selected as the consultant for a specific contract, you may be required to submit some additional documents such as a scanned copy of your ID/passport and documents that would verify the rate of your previous consultancies (depending on different funding agency’s requirement). The role of the selected consultant will be defined in the Terms of Reference and contract to be signed for the specific task.
