Job brief
We are looking for a professional Restaurant manager to be responsible for managing all Restaurant operations and for delivering an excellent guest experience. The successful candidate will be able to forecast, plan and manage all Restaurant orders, staff and finance. The goal is to maximize sales and revenue through customer satisfaction and employee engagement through;
Managing food and beverage operations within budget and to the highest standards
Leading Restaurants team by attracting, recruiting, training and appraising talented personnel .
Core Responsibilities
• Financial return
• Involves themselves in Budgeting and forecasting.
• Profit & Loss analysis including productivity and cost management.
• Strategies to increase revenue & reduces cost.
• Organizes food or beverage promotions.
• Participates in F&B marketing plans.
• Holds self and others accountable for achieving results.
Team Management
• Role modelling the Company Values and Core Purpose.
• Leading employee engagement activities.
• Delivery of hotel-wide and departmental communication.
• Conducting quarterly Performance Reviews.
• Coaching and regular feedback sessions of employees.
• Implementation of departmental specific training programs.
Guest Experience
• Implementation and maintenance of brand standards.
• Driving the guest experience through service quality.
• Implementation and compliance of the Company’s Fire, Life and Safety requirements.
• Conducts market and competitor analysis.
• Introduces latest trends and adopts new technology.
• Assists Kitchen and Operations with compilation of new food or beverage menus.
• Develops detailed understanding of the market and guest’s’ needs.
Business Responsibility
• Manages daily operation of restaurants.
• Reviews checklists to maintain high standard of cleanliness.
• Challenges the way things are done; identifies areas requiring change and suggests ideas to support the change.
• Implementation and maintenance of standard operating procedures.
Requirements
• Proven food and beverage management experience
• Working knowledge of various computer software programs (MS Office, restaurant management software, Jonas)
• Ability to spot and resolve problems efficiently
• Mastery in delegating multiple tasks
• Communication and leadership skills
• Up to date with food and beverages trends and best practices
• Ability to manage personnel and meet financial targets
• Guest-oriented and service-minded
• Culinary school diploma or degree in food service management, Hospitality or related field
