Job Purpose
Dedicated frontline salesperson who is responsible for the execution of agreed sales and profitability targets established by the business within the assigned sales area by managing the entire sales process of sales related business.
To grow the market & promote Product diversification.
Key Accountabilities
• Deliver results (CM, share of wallet) according to sales budgets (including accounts receivables and DSO)
• Accurate sales forecasting, reporting and pipeline documentation.
• Customer retention, acquisition, and loss
• Direct contact with customers in the field, representing AkzoNobel in a professional manner.
• Customer Satisfaction
Key Activities
• Achieve budgeted sales volume, revenue and contribution margin within specific area by managing all activities related to the sales cycle.
• Effective sales tracking and reporting on sales pipeline/leads, tracking, during sales and after-sales, market trends.
• Regularly visit existing and potential specifiers to drive the prescription of AkzoNobel brands and technical and Colour solutions
• Identify, plan and develop new customers within specific area
• Initiate and negotiate tailor made actions and specifications, discuss with customers or dealers, deliver product trainings to customers and channels
• Prescribe suitable specifications that will “delight” the customer and drive growth to proactively grow the category and share wallet.
• Coordinates activities with the sales force and a multi-disciplined team, depending on our route to market for follow up and execution.
• Drive OWC et OCF through efficient credit management
Experience
• Grade 12 + Proven External Sales Record at reputable companies (1-2 years experience)
• Industrial Goods sales Knowledge will be advantageous
• Hard working and Target Driven
• Strong sales techniques and negotiation skills
• Computer Literate & should demonstrate knowledge of MS Office Packages
• Valid Driver’s license
• Possess excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Excellent sales, communication and social skills
• Be able to liaise on all levels
• Passionate about customer satisfaction
• Confident and good team player
