Job Title: Sales and Marketing Officer

JOB SUMMARY
We are looking for a results-oriented sales officer to engage customers with a focus on achieving and exceeding allocated sales targets. The Sales and Marketing Officer will work closely with the Sales Manager to drive and oversee the sales and marketing of the business and ensure all collections are received timely. Experience in working with a FMCG company is a must. .

Job Responsibilities:
• Searching for new clients who might benefit from the company products and services;
• Reach out to customer leads through cold calling
• Achieve agreed upon sales targets and outcomes within schedule
• Analyse the territory/market’s potential, track sales and status reports
• Supply management with reports on customer needs, problems, interests, competitive activities, and potential for new products and services.
• Providing pre-sales demonstrations, product education, after-sales support services and troubleshooting
• Schedule appointments and meetings as necessary
• Demonstrate superior time management skills and meet sales deadlines
• Conduct credit checks for all potential customers.
• Ensure collections of payments from debtors are done timely.

  Job Qualifications:
• Degree/Advanced Diploma in Sales and Marketing /Business Management Accounts or Finance
• Experience working in an FMCG is a must.
• Proficiency in computer usage, specially MS word and MS Excel
• Must be organized and a creative thinker
• Must have a driving license
• Ability and desire to sell
• Excellent communication skills
• Must be willing to work on weekends
