JOB DETAILS:
Purpose Of The Job:
To manage and conduct training programs in Fitting/Machining at artisan level, technician level and short courses in order to meet the skilled manpower requirements of KCM.

Main Roles & Responsibilities:
Manage and organize the section in order to ensure the provision of quality training. Supervise and conduct training of trainees and skills upgrading in accordance with KCM and TEVETA standards in order to ensure the transfer of knowledge and skills to trainees and a competent workforce.
• Responsible for all training equipment, tools and materials in the section.
To supervise the implementation of SHEQ policies in order to promote safety, health and risk awareness among instructors and trainees and the maintenance of a good environment.
• To prepare budget and control costs in the section to ensure that expenditure is within agreed budget
To implement a planned preventive maintenance programs that will ensure that all training equipment and tools in the section are in good working order.
• To carry out regular TNAS in all IBUS to identify the training needs of employees on the plant to ensure that training in the school meets the requirements of KCM.

Requirements:
• Grade 12 school certificate
Diploma in Heavy Equipment Repair
Training/Teaching Qualification
10 years’ working experience Good writing & oral skills

Work Hours: 8

Experience in Months: 120

Level of Education: High School
