JOB DETAILS:
The Kenya High Commission based in Lusaka is inviting qualified, suitable and motivated individuals to apply for a Security Guard position at its premises.
Security Guard .
Job Responsibilities:
1) Guard the High Commission's premises;
2) Control both vehicles and human traffic into the premises;
3) Monitor movements around, into and out of the premises and report any incidences;
4) Ensure that electric fences and other security features are in working condition;
5) Manage the visitor's parking area; and
6) Any other duties assigned by the High Commission.

Qualifications:
a) Physical:
1) Must be between 25 to 35 years of age;
2) Be physically able to perform all general patrol duties and activities;
3) Be free from all communicable diseases;
4) Be well proportioned, as to height and weight; and
5) Be in good health, without physical deformities that would interfere with the performance of duties.
b) Education and other Qualifications:
1) Must be a Zambian citizen
2) Minimum of Grade 12 School Certificate.
3) Must be able to speak, read, and write English.
4) Must not have a criminal record.
5) Must have a minimum of one-year experience in a similar position.
6) Must be able to work for long hours

c) Additional Information
1) The applicant MUST not be dependent on alcohol or other drugs, if using prescribed medication, such medications must not hinder the performance of assigned duties.
2) The applicant MUST undergo physical examination by a licensed physician to ascertain their health completion and ability to fulfil the assigned duties.
This is a contractual employment of 3 years renewable subject to satisfactory appraisal by the High Commission.
