JOB DETAILS:
As you prepare your proposal, it is also important for you to understand that it is our objective to have the solution to operate as independent as possible but still service the clients and member companies. It is further important for you to understand that continuous improvements and further customizations and upgrades, when need be, will be key during the life of this solution.

Tasks to be performed by the Consultant
• Integration to the Digital Motor Vehicle Insurance Certificate System (DiMVIC) for purpose of
• Pushing required data to the DiMVIC
• retrieving vehicle insurance information from DiMVIC,
• submission of mobile payments and;
• Implementation of required linkages for facilitation of automatic emails, alerts and SMSs to the client for improved collaboration
• Set up Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS) with a reliable hosting provider including support
• Aid clients without API development capabilities to accomplish the same
• Design, develop and implement the system in line with the objectives in 6.1 above
• Integrations with any third-party Payment Gateway
• The developer’s system should be “ready” to integrate with any third-party payment gateway.
• Deliverables
• Deliver as per the requirements outlined in 6.1 above
• Deliver as per the requirements outlined in 6.2 above
• Functional Insurance Web App
• Functional Insurance Mobile App
• Functional USSD App
• Functional Insurance Dashboard /Portal
• APIs (Integration platforms) for Third Party Integrations
• Integration services with other providers at minimal additional costs to IAZ.
• Duration of the Assignment
• The developers are expected to finalise the above deliverables within 4 weeks of contract signing with an additional one week for final customization.

Qualifications and Experience
• The developers /consulting firm should at least have minimum of 6 technical staff
• Must show evidence of having done at least 1 project of similar nature or exact.
• Reasonably have a working proto-type for Web App
• Reasonably have a working prototype for Mobile App
• Reasonably have a working prototype for USSD App
• Must have a working prototype Insurance Dashboard
• Show capacity to meet the deadlines
• Declarations of Interest
• Does your institution have any current dealings with IAZ?
• Does your institution have any current dealings with any insurer?
• Are there any Directors or employees that sit on IAZ-ICT committee?
• Developers/Consulting Firm Profile
• The developers/consulting firm will be required to submit at most a 12 paged response outlining firm profile, profiles and skill set for the developing team only, Profile of project lead and proposed conceptual functionality.
• Financial Proposal
• The consulting firm will be required to include a financial proposal in their submission.
