Job Description
Senior Analyst – Data Quality, Salary Grade Zra05 (1 Position), Business Facilitation, Data Analytics
A. Purpose
Reporting directly to the Compliance Risk Manager, the job holder will be responsible for implementing initiatives to identify and remediate data quality issues, developing procedures to enhance data accuracy and integrity, and providing expertise to support the operationalization of data quality policies and guidelines across the organization.

B. MAIN DUTIES/ACCOUNTABILITIES
1. Ensure monitoring mechanisms and controls are implemented throughout the data lifecycle to ensure the accuracy and reliability of data used in analytics and report dissemination.
2. Ensure data quality accuracy, contextual consistency, and reliability across different systems and platforms.
3. Assist in the development and implementation of data quality standards and ensure these standards meet both operational and regulatory requirements across an evolving digital landscape.
4. Assist in establishing mechanisms to detect, report, and address any discrepancies or breaches in data.
5. Collaborate with IT teams and other data stewards to diminish data redundancies and overlaps.
6. Collaborate with application personnel to guarantee adherence to established data governance procedures in the data value chain.
7. Support the development and adoption of the data governance stewardship roles, model, and responsibilities.
8. Design KPIs that accurately gauge data governance success. Regularly report on these indicators, providing insights to peers, forums, and committees.
9. Support governance and process development principles to drive end-to-end Data and Analytics framework implementation and adoption.
10. Work closely with other departments to integrate data quality processes into existing workflows and systems.
11. Preparing monthly activity and other relevant management reports; and
12. Implementing the PMDCs in accordance with HR guidelines.

C. MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
1. Grade Twelve School Certificate/General Certificate of Education Equivalent with five (5) Credits or better;
2. Degree in Data Analytics, Computer Science, Accounting, Economics, Finance, Statistics, Business Administration, or a related field is required; and
3. Minimum three (3) years’ relevant post qualifying work experience.
