JOB DETAILS:
Overview of Teach For All & the Global Initiatives and Partnerships team
• Teach For All is a growing global network of 62 independent, locally led organizations united by the purpose of developing collective leadership to ensure all children have the opportunity to fulfill their potential. Each network partner recruits and develops promising leaders to teach in their nations’ under-resourced schools and communities and, with this foundation, to work throughout their lives, from inside and outside of education, to ensure all children are able to fulfill their potential. Teach For All’s global organization works to increase the network’s impact by building awareness of the network’s approach, supporting the launch of new organizations, building the capacity of network partners by helping them learn from each other, maintaining network standards, and working collaboratively with the global education and development communities to catalyze progress towards ensuring all children fulfill their potential.
• The Global Resources and Partnerships Team supports the global network in achieving objectives that are rooted in Teach For All’s intended outcomes and the needs of network partners and that reflect the evolving needs of children and youth for thriving in the fast-changing world of the 21st century. As part of this work, global initiatives and partnerships are developed and cultivated based on needs across the network, in order to live into our core purpose, accelerate progress towards our vision, and positioning education as a lever for addressing global challenges (e.g., education in emergencies and the future of work). Within this structure, the Climate Education & Leadership Initiative aims to infuse climate education throughout the education system by building a force of students, teachers, and alumni leaders who will foster climate mindedness, action and resilience in rising generations.
