JOB DETAILS:
Job Purpose
Responsible for resourcing, learning and development, reward and benefits administration, managing the Human Resource Management Information system, HR trends analysis and performance management.
Duties And Responsibilities
i. Coordinate the recruitment and on-boarding process and ensure all new appointees have a good understanding of and subscribe to LWSC’s vision, mission and values by understanding its approaches, policies, procedures, strategies and operations to perform their job.
ii. In liaison with other line Managers, conducted training needs analysis with a view of coming up with a training plan aligned to the business strategy.
iii. To oversee and manage workforce analysis to ensure that relevant metrics and trends are identified and reported to key stakeholders, and/or business unit leaders.
iv. Attending to queries relating to Human Resources policies, salaries, benefits and compensation.
v. Payroll and HR information system management (SAGE 300) administration.
vi. Coordinating the performance management process and keeping records of all performance agreements and rating/scores for employees
vii. Maintenance of records and compilations of statistical reports relating to HR metrics such as recruitment, transfers, labour turnover, performance evaluation results, absenteeism, training and development and disciplinary matters
viii. Preparation of relevant weekly, monthly, quarterly and annual reports to aid decision making.
ix. Coordination of the termination of employment process for resignations, dismissals, and deaths, to ensure consistent application of policy on notice and payment of terminal benefits.
x. To provide support in the development of HR strategies and plans.
Qualifications and Experience
i. Degree in Human Resource Management, Business Administration or equivalent.
ii. At least three (3) years of relevant work experience in a reputable organization.
iii. Member of the Zambia Institute of Human Resource Management.
