JOB DETAILS:

JOB PURPOSE
To supervise and undertake the provision of engineering and public address services in order to facilitate the dissemination of information.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
The successful candidate will be reporting to the Principal Operations Officer and shall be responsible for:
• Supervising and undertaking effectively installation of equipment, fittings and appliances in order to facilitate their operation;
• Supervising and undertaking timely maintenance and repair of equipment, fittings and appliances in order to prolong their lifespan and restore them to working condition;
• Supervising and undertaking effectively the provision of technical support in the delivery of public address and mobile video show services in order to facilitate smooth dissemination of information;
• Supervising and undertaking effectively the provision of graphic design services in order to facilitate broadcasting and transmission of television, radio and social media content:
• Supervising and undertaking effectively the provision of printing services in order to facilitate the dissemination of information and income generation;
• Supervising and undertaking effectively the decommissioning of obsolete equipment in order to facilitate its disposal;
• Supervising and undertaking effectively the implementation of television and radio programme schedules in order to ensure orderly delivery of programmes; and
• Supervising timely the development of work plans and implementation of the performance management system in order to monitor, evaluate and enhance performance.

QUALIFICATIONS
The applicants must meet the following requirements:
• Grade Twelve (12) School Certificate with a minimum of five (5) Credits including English Language and Mathematics or its equivalent;
• Bachelor of Engineering degree in Electronics or its equivalent;
• Three (3) years working experience; and
• Member of the Engineering Institute of Zambia.
