JOB DETAILS:
East-West Management Institute, Inc. (EWMI) invites applications by US Citizens for the Senior Technical Advisor position as part of EWMI’s proposal for the upcoming five-year USAID/Zambia Leading Organizational Capacity and Localization Development (LOCAL) Activity. LOCAL will support the organizational capacity of the current USAID/Zambia local implementing partners to manage, implement, and monitor their programs. The Senior Technical Advisor is a consultancy position.

Required qualifications
• Minimum of 7 years of experience in developing and providing advanced and effective organizational capacity development to civil society organizations, of which at least five years must be relevant to international development assistance activities;
• Demonstrated experience with capacity assessments, training, and mentoring on a wide range of organizational capacity development aspects;
• Demonstrated experience in working with organizations at various levels of capacity;

Desired qualifications
• Master’s degree in political science, sociology, statistics, international development, or in a relevant field or a Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field with a minimum of 5 years’ experience in addition to the 7 years’ experience above; and
• Experience in Zambia, Southern Africa or regions at similar stages of economic development.
