Senior Underwriting Manager
Job purpose
To provide effective insurance underwriting activities to management.. .

Job Responsibilities:
• To provide support and approval for team members on standard underwriting projects and may conduct research, analysis, and underwriting for special or complex applications.
• Need to support risk management and financial duc diligence activities.
• As part of the underwriting process, the underwriter is to assess risk and determine rates based on that risk.
• Also possess the ability to examine and assess internal processes, identifying areas where practices can be improved and enhanced..

Job Qualifications:
• Bachelor's Degree in business or insurance related courses.
• A Master's Degree would be an added advantage
• A minimum of 5 years' experience in underwriting at management level.
• In depth experience with insurance financial reporting and compliance requirements..
