Market Area Sub Saharan Africa is Hiring!
We are looking for a dynamic sales Leader who has extensive Sales Leadership experience.
You will work in a great team that is ready to support the customer.
Your responsibilities will require extensive travel within Zambia and DRC. .

As Services Sales Manager Central Africa, You Will
• Services sales and sales support for Outotec technologies, Product Lines and / or Services products (may be Solution Lead in sales cases), OR, services sales and sales support for a certain geographical region (may be Customer Lead in sales cases)
• Identify and understand target customer base including the Outotec & competitors installed base for given focus area
• Proactively working with customers to identify and evaluate their needs aiming for value co-creation opportunities and solutions
• Understand the value proposition for both Services and Capex in Outotec’s product and offering portfolio that would apply to given focus areas and work internally with Services BU (SPMs) and associated functions to create and present the correct offer to the customer that fulfills their needs and requirements, winning the sales case
• Stakeholder updates and development / execution of short – medium term sales action plans for your identified customer base in conjunction with Head of Service Sales
• Building and growing sales funnel through focused sales visits to generate leads and through the support to other customer leads when in a technology focused position
• Package Service offerings to Capex projects including all service products for given focus area (spare parts, technical services, O&M, etc) – collaborate with Acct Director and/or SAM
• Engage with Capex team to understand delivery timelines for won projects to initiate service support for the customers at the earliest and most appropriate opportunity
• Develop Site Account Plans and Framework Agreements
• Working proactively with other functions upon securing sales purchase orders from the customer to ensure smooth processing and execution of the order according to Outotec processes and any customers promises and expectations are clearly understood within the organization
• Completion of required sales handover documentation and ensuring won deal is properly set into progress in Services Delivery

To succeed, you will need:
• 60% of time spent at site
• Experience in the area of Sales, Account Management and Customer Relationship Management
• Experience in working in or closely with sales, product management and services
• Knowledge of CRM based systems
• Ideally 7+ years minimum in professional sales role in Minerals or Metals Industry
• Ability to be both strategic and tactical. Able to see the big picture, plan and organize effectively
• Excellent negotiation, communication and presentation skills.
• Customer business and industry understanding
• Good common knowledge of Outotec’s portfolio, except for given focus area where level of expertise must be high
• Services business understanding
• Experience in large matrix organization
• Strong networking skills
• Experience managing cross organizational teams
• Willingness and desire to continuous personal learning
• Fluent in English
• This position will be based in South Africa OR Zambia
