JOB DETAILS:
Mechanics & Auto Electricians
Nyimba Investments Limited is seeking highly hands-on Mechanics & Auto Electricians with extensive experience in Proactive & Corrective Maintenance
Location: The role will be primarily based at Nyimba Investments Workshop in Lusaka with On-Call requirements for breakdown duties.

Our Right Fit candidate will:
• Examine trucks based on scheduled / proactive maintenance and table concerns on company units.
• Troubleshoot faults and repair or replace worn out parts, carry out weekly inspections to ensure thorough examination of all units using detailed checklists
• Carry out detailed mechanical and auto electrical trouble shooting of problems using computerized diagnostic equipment and common sense
• Establish appropriate repair measures based on analysis, peer-to-peer examination, and past experience
• Perform repairs thoroughly and accurately on diesel engines taking into account original repair strategy and motor vehicle specifications

Our Mechanics & Auto Electricians should have:
• A Craft Certificate or higher in Automotive Mechanics or completion of a post-secondary program in automotive mechanics
• Industry Experience: At least Five (5) years' work experience in a maintenance environment on Scania and Volvo, Foton, Faw Trucks and trailers
• Experience with electronic systems maintenance and repair and experience in engine OVERHAUL and Gearbox repairs on diesel engines
• Basic computer skills and strong verbal communication skils-Our mechanic is expected to communicate repair works/information to the Workshop Foreman
• Have sober habits
