Overview
Kafubu Water and Sanitation Company is a Water Utility Company on the Copperbelt providing quality water and sanitation services to its customers in Ndola, Luanshya and Masaiti. In its continued strides to sustain and improve service delivery to its esteemed customers, the Company seeks to employ highly motivated and goal oriented individuals in the positions of:
Sewer Maintenance Superintendent
Location: Ndola

Overall purpose of the job
To supervise the mechanical and electrical maintenance and repair works of the sewerage treatment plants and equipment to ensure maximum availability.
Main responsibilities include:
• Timely supervision of mechanical and electrical Installations.
• Repairing of equipment and installations to achieve a minimum of 75% equipment availability in plants and pumping stations
• Ensuring 100% compliance of planned preventive maintenance as per schedule and checklist instructions to safeguard equipment life and reduce on down time
• Timely generation of plant status and waste water treatment reports
• Ensuring all operational procedures are followed for effective maintenance of the treatment plants and pump station equipment

Qualification and experience
• Grade 12 School Certificate with Minimum 5 O Levels
• Diploma in Civil Engineering or Water Engineering
• Three years experience in water and sanitation engineering
• Being in possession of Clean and valid Driver’s license will be an added advantage

Work Hours: 8

Experience in Months: 36

Level of Education: Associate Degree
