As we expand our operations in Zambia, we are seeking a creative and energetic Social Media Manager to help us connect with our audience on various platforms.

Position Overview:
• As a Social Media Manager at BengaBet, you will play a crucial role in developing and implementing our social media strategy. You will be responsible for creating engaging content, building and managing social media profiles, and fostering a vibrant online community. The ideal candidate is not only tech-savvy but also a creative designer, good communicator and possesses a deep understanding and enthusiasm for sports, with a particular focus on football. As the Social Media Manager, you will report directly to the Country Manager.

Key Responsibilities:
1. Content Creation:
Develop and curate compelling and shareable content related to sports betting, football, and other relevant topics.
Support the design of visually appealing graphics and multimedia content to enhance engagement.
2. Platform Management:
Manage and monitor social media accounts across various platforms (Twitter and Facebook).
Stay up-to-date with platform trends and algorithm changes to optimize content reach.
3. Community Engagement:
Foster meaningful interactions with our audience through response to comments, direct messages, and other engagement strategies.
Implement strategies to grow and maintain an active and loyal online community.
4. Campaign Execution:
Collaborate with marketing teams to plan and execute social media campaigns.
Analyze campaign performance and adjust strategies for optimal results.
5. Analytics and Reporting:
Utilize analytics tools to track key performance indicators and provide regular reports on social media metrics.
Make data-driven recommendations for continuous improvement.

Qualifications:
• Proven experience as a Social Media Manager or similar role.
Tech-savvy with a deep understanding of social media platforms and emerging trends.
Passionate about sports, with a strong knowledge of football and the sports betting industry.
Creative mindset with the ability to think outside the box.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
