JOB DETAILS:

Key Responsibilities
• Assists the Head Chef in developing and standardizing new recipes.
• Assists the Head Chef in the areas of food festivals, menu planning and pricing.
• Works closely with the purchasing officer for developing standard purchase specifications for various items.
• Ensures regular monitoring of clients’ feedback, prompt, efficient and accurate service to all customers along with the best quality products.
• Stays informed about the new developments in the world of cuisine, cooking techniques, kitchen equipment etc.
• Ensures that the kitchen is properly staffed and assists in supervising, training and monitoring of kitchen staff.
• Demonstrates proper usage of kitchen equipment and correct cooking techniques to kitchen staff.
• Ensures that all kitchen staff follows sanitation rules and regulations as well as safety standards.
• Undertakes any other relevant tasks assigned by Supervisor.

Minimum Requirements
• Grade 12 School Certificate
• Diploma in Food Production
• Minimum three (3) years similar experience

Work Hours: 8

Experience in Months: 36

Level of Education: High School
