The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing warehouse stock, ensuring efficient inventory control, and maintaining optimal stock levels to support business operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain a clean, organized, and efficient warehouse environment.
- Accurately record stock movements and initiate restocking as needed.
- Conduct monthly and quarterly stock checks and prepare inventory reports.
- Implement and enhance internal inventory controls, including monitoring minimum and maximum stock levels.
- Perform spot checks and stock audits, investigating discrepancies.
- Ensure the timely supply of stock to various business units.
- Prepare and maintain essential inventory documentation, including Goods Receipt Notes (GRN), Delivery Notes (DN), and Purchase Requisitions (PR).
- Inspect incoming materials for quality and quantity, ensuring alignment with delivery notes.
- Apply FEFO (First-Expired-First-Out) and FIFO (First-In-First-Out) storage methods.
- Oversee warehouse waste management and damaged product claims.
Maintain accurate system entries for inventory received, issued, or transferred.
- Supervise warehouse team members and enforce adherence to health, safety, and environmental regulations.
Requirements:
- Diploma or Degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum of three (3) years of experience in stores management or inventory control.
- Proficiency in inventory management software and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word).
- Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and lead a team.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Knowledge of safety and regulatory compliance in warehouse operations.
