JOB DETAILS:
Qualifications
• Grade 12. +
• Certificate in purchasing and supply.
• At least 2 years practical work experience in the same role.

Specifications
• Good verbal and written communication skills. Proficient in Computer applications, Microsoft excel, word, power-point and email.

Responsibilities
• Raising purchasing requisition.
• Receiving and accounting of incoming stock and materials and maintaining accurate records for convenient audit purpose.
• Ensure inventory is organised and stored in appropriate places, according to classification. Assist with receiving into the stores department, counting, sorting and palletising of stock where necessary.
• Recording all goods received from suppliers in the Goods Received Notebook (GRN)
• Ensure 5-5 FIFO (First in first out) in the warehouse.
• Assist with stock replenishment.
• Maintain accurate records for the stock and ensure that the figures in the system correspond with physical items in store. Liaise with suppliers when required in a timely manner and ensure the goods delivered are in accordance with specifications, as set out in the purchase order.
• Any other duties assigned from time to time by management.
