INVITATION FOR BIDS (IFB)
RDA/CE/ONB/004/024: TENDER FOR THE DESIGN & CONSTRUCTION OF THE NEW ROAD DEVELOPMENT AGENCY HEAD OFFICE BUILDING IN IBEX HILL, LUSAKA PROVINCE OF ZAMBIA
The Road Development Agency (RDA) has received financing from the Government of the Republic of Zambia (GRZ) in the 2024 Road Sector Annual Work Plan (RSAWP) and wishes to apply a portion of these funds to cover eligible payments for the Detailed Engineering Design and Construction of the new Road Development Agency Head Office Building in the Lusaka Province of Zambia.
The scope of works includes but is not limited to the Design and Construction of the new Road Development Agency Head Office Building. Detailed information is provided under Part 2, Section VI: Employer's Requirements of the Solicitation Document.

The RDA now invites bids from eligible and qualified bidders, who are registered with the Engineering Institution of Zambia and National Council for Construction in Grade 1 Category B, for the Design and Construction of the new Road Development Agency Head Office Building. Bidding will be conducted through Open National Bidding Procedures in accordance with Section 39 of the Public Procurement Act No.8 of 2020, as amended by Act No.17 of 2023. Bidding is open to both citizen and local bidders; however, local bidders shall be required to partner with citizen bidders as required by Section 39 (3) of the Public Procurement Act No.8 of 2020.
The bidding documents can be accessed from the e-GP system through the ZPPA website www.zppa.org.zm and the RDA website www.rda.org.zm. 

A non-refundable fee of K2,500.00 will be required to be paid by the prospective bidders. The method of payment will be cash or bank certified cheque deposited into the Road Development Agency's account and the bank details are as follows.

A mandatory site visit will be conducted on Friday, 17 May 2024, Bidders are requested to meet at the RDA Headquarters in Lusaka at 09:00. Following the site visit, a pre-bid meeting will be held to clarify all issues that bidders may raise.
Bids should be submitted not later than Friday, 7 June 2024 at 10:30 hours local time through the e-GP System.
