Call for Expression of Interest to: supply and install a 3-phase outdoor standby power generator at EZI Ltd fitment centre.

1.0 Background:
EuroZambezi Investment (EZI) Limited was formed in July 2019 with an investment in European equipment (Eurotek) into Zambia for providing of high quality auto fitment services. We now have a new purpose–built auto fitment service centre that needs supply and installation of a 3-phase standby generator to power auto fitment centre equipment during sudden power outages. The 3-phase generator should be able to power any of the fitment centre equipment such as the two car platforms, computerised 8-camera wheel alignment systems with printers, automated wheel balancers, automated tyre changers, compressed air cylinders and pressure vessels.
2.0 Purpose: To provide motorists with business continuity in times of power outages.

4.0 Scope of work:
4.1 Connect the generator to the auto switch electricity supply distribution board.
4.2 Advise on consumables to be stocked /replace parts or assist to procure any part(s) or spares if
required.

5.0 Expected Outcomes or Deliverables:
5.1 Automatic switch to generator on sudden electricity supply power outage to keep the car lift
platforms, wheel balancers, wheel alignment and tyre changers working.
5.2 A 3-phase power generator able to power two mobile automated tyre changers and two mobile automated
wheel balancers, including staff training.
5.3 Supply laminated information on equipment safety, personal safety and generator usage tips.

6.0 Work plan Time line:
7.0 Reporting: The contractor (eligible individual or firm team leader) will be reporting to the EZI director.
8.0 Contract Duration: One (1) day.
9.0 Payment terms: 100% on achievement of all deliverables.

10.0 Qualification and Experience:
EuroZambezi Investment Limited now invites an individual specialist/contractor or a firm with requisite expertise to submit their Expression of Interest (EOI) for the provision of this service.
10.1 Interested individuals are required to submit the following: Electrical engineering qualifications with 5 years’ experience and should show proof of having installed similar equipment. Professional membership of Engineering Institute of Zambia.
10.2 Interested firms are required to submit the following:
10.2.1 PACRA business/company registration certificate and key staff or team leader with electrical engineering qualifications and experience as in 10.1.1.
10.2.2 Proof of having installed similar equipment and services with at least 3 reputable clients and a valid tax clearance certificate.
11.0 Procurement method: Basic open quality based selection.

Submission Procedure
Submission of short Expression of Interest with technical, including and financial proposal of less than 2 pages should be sent by email with other requirements as attachments. The email should be addressed to the director, EuroZambezi Investment Limited at: eurozambezi@gmail.com. The email subject heading should indicate: Supply and installation of a 3-phase outdoor power generator. The brief technical and financial proposal should indicate a breakdown of generator specifications, cost and total amount. Ideally a detailed invoice would be sufficient. The successful bidder will be contacted by email and invited for a site visit prior to supply and installation of the 3 phase generator.
