1. Kariba North Bank Extension Power KINBEPC Limited has set aside funds in the 2022 budget towards the cost to engage a bidder for supply, delivery, installation and commissioning of an automated fire detection, monitoring and suppression system at Kariba North Bank Extension Power Corporation Office Block in Woodlands and intends to apply part of the proceeds of this financing to payments under this Contract

2. KNBEPC now invites qualified bidders to submit sealed bids for supply, delivery, installation and commissioning of an automated fire detection, monitoring and suppression system at Kariba North Bank Extension Power Corporation Office Block in Woodlands. More details on the requirements are provided in the bidding document.

3.Bidding will be conducted through Open National Bidding (ONB) Procedures specified in the Public Procurement Act No. 8 of 2020 and the Public Procurement Regulations No. 30 of 2022 and is restricted to eligible citizen bidders. Bidding is also open to bidders registered with the National Council for Construction (NCC) in Category ME, Minimum Grades 5 and 6.

4. Bidders may obtain further information from and inspect the Bidding Documents at the address given below from 08:00 to 12:30 hours and from 14:00 to 16:30 hours, Monday to Friday

5. A complete set of bidding document in English may be purchased by bidder at the address below upon payment of a non-refundable fee of K1,000.00 or its equivalent in any freely convertible currency The method of payment will be through Bank (Managers) Cheque issued by a recognized Commerdal Bank acceptable to the Purchaser, or direct deposit or transfer of funds into the Purchaser's Bank account with evidence of such deposit as follows:
