Tender for the Construction of a Conference Hall at Chisamba Guest House (Current Civic Center)

Chisamba Town Council through The Local Government Equalization Fund Projects component and Locally Generated Resources has secured funds and intends apply these funds to cover eligible payment under the contract for the Construction of a conference Hall

Chisamba Town Council now invites sealed bids from eligible bidders registered with the National Council for Construction (NCC) in Category B or Grade 3 or better to participate in the above tender

Interested eligible bidders may obtain information, inspect and purchase the bidding documents from The Procurement Unit at the Chisamba Town Council Civic Center PO BOX 820030) along Chipembi road upon payment of a non-refundable fee of ZMW 1000.00 the funds must be deposited in the following account; Bank: Zambia National Commercial Bank (ZANACO) Account Name: General Fund Account number: 2006424300196 Branch: Chisamba and the deposit slip presented to the Accounts office at the Civic Center.

Submission Procedure

Sealed bids clearly marked "TENDER FOR THE CONSTRUCTION OF A CONFERENCE HALL IN CHISAMBA DISTRICT IN CENTRAL PROVINCE” addressed to the Council Secretary Civic center, must be submitted and deposited in the tender Box at the Administration Foyer at the Civic Center Chipembi Road on or before Tuesday 2nd September, 2021 at 10:30 Hours local Time Bids must be accompanied by a bid security of 2% of the total Bid Sum from a reputable Commercial Bank or insurance Company duly signed by Guarantors. Late bids shall not be accepted.

The bids shall be opened immediately thereafter in the Council cocktail in the presence of Bidders or their representatives who chose to attend.

NOTE: There shall be a pre-bid meeting and site visit on 19 August, 2021 at 09:00 hours. Bidders should assemble at Chisamba Town Council at 09:00 hours at their own cost.
