Invitation for Bids (IFB)
KMU/PU/PP1/026/21: Tender for the Provision of Security Services
Kapasa Makasa University hereby invites sealed bids from eligible companies for the provision of security services on a one-year contract.
Bidding will be conducted through the Open National Bidding procedures specified in the Public Procurement Act No. 8 of 2020.
Eligible bidders may obtain further information from the University Procurement Unit, contact the Procurement Officer on telephone number 260 978906722. The bidding documents may be purchased from the Procurement Unit at a non-refundable fee of K500.00 or its equivalent at any freely convertible currency at the prevailing exchange rates in cash or bank certified cheque.
Submission Procedure
Bids must be appropriately bound and clearly marked with name and tender number, as in above and be deposited in the Tender Box located in the University Library on or before Monday, 27th December, 2021 at 10:00 hours local time.
Please note that site visits will be organized on 6th December, 2021 at 09:00 hour. Bidders are to assemble at Kapasa Makasa University Procurement Office,
Late, Electronic and Telefax bids will not be accepted.
The bids will be opened in the presence of bidders or their representatives in the University Library, on Monday, 27th December, 2021 at 10:30 hours local time.
The bidders should provide the following information with their bids
a) VAT Registration Tax Clearance Certificate
b) Certificate of Incorporation
c) Proof of current or past performance in similar contracts
d) Company Profile
e) Audited Financial Statements
f) Contact details including physical address
g) Any other information requested in the solicitation document
