Tender for the Supply, Delivery, Installation and Commissioning of Containerized Solar Powered Cold Storage Facilities for Farmer Led Irrigation Schemes Under the Zambia Integrated Forest Landscape Project (ZIFLP).

The Government of the Republic of Zambia has received financing from the World Bank (WB) to implement the Zambia Integrated Forest Landscape Project (ZILFP and intends to apply part of these funds towards the contract for the supply, delivery, installation and commissioning of Containerized Solar Powered Cold Storage Facilities.

The Provincial Administration, Eastern Province now invites sealed bids from eligible and interested suppliers for the supply and installation of Containerized Solar Powered Cold Storage Facilities for Farmer led irrigation Scheme (FLIS) under the Zambia Integrated Forest Landscape Project (ZIFLP).

Bidding will be conducted using the National Competitive Bidding (NCB) procedures specified in the Public Procurement Act No. 8 of 2020 and agreed provisions in the Financing Agreement. The tender is open to bidders eligible as defined in the bidding document, that meet the qualification criteria indicated herein.

The bidding documents can also be accessed on the Zambia Integrated Forest Landscape Project (ZILFP) website: www.ziflp.org.zm. A Pre-Bid Meeting will be conducted on Thursday, 18th November, 2021, Conference Room, Provincial Administration, Eastern Province.

A complete set of Bidding Documents in English may be purchased by interested bidders upon payment of a non-refundable fee of K1000.00 or its equivalent in any freely convertible currency at the prevailing exchange rate in cash or by Bank certified cheque. The Bank Account details are as follows:

Submission Procedure
All bids should be appropriately bound and submitted in sealed envelopes, clearly marked: "TENDER FOR THE SUPPLY, DELIVERY INSTALLATION AND COMMISSIONING OF CONTAINERIZED SOLAR POWERED COLD STORAGE FACILITIES FOR FARMER LED IRRIGATION SCHEMES UNDER THE ZAMBIA INTEGRATED FOREST LANDSCAPE PROJECT (ZIFLP)"and addressed to the Head - Procurement and Supplies Unit, and must be sent not later than Wednesday, 8th December, 2021 at 10:00 hours local time. All bids must be accompanied by a bid security of not less than two (2%) per cent of the bid sum duly signed by the Guarantor or bid securing declaration.

The sealed bids must be deposited in the tender box at the Provincial Administration, Eastern Province - Procurement and Supplies Unit, on or before Wednesday, December, 2021 at 10:00 hours local time. Late Bids will be rejected. Bids will be opened soon after closing in the Conference Room Provincial Administration, Eastern Province - Procurement and Supplies Unit in the presence of bidders/representatives who choose to attend
